Lots of prizes and loads of fun in Spellathon 2018!!

This year the P&C is hoping to raise over $25,000 from Spell-a-thon to help fund the new STEM building for all the kids at CSS to use.  STEM is (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

Every child in the school is involved in Spell-a-thon through learning their spelling words - please get behind our children and show them your support. Last year the school community raised a spectacular $20,000 that was used to purchase laptops and a cart.

Prizes:

  • Individual students who raise over $40 (online and/or cash) get a prize,
  • Class prizes for highest fundraising efforts:
    • Prep - Year 2 highest Class wins a Pizza and Cupcake Party,
    • Year 3- Year 6 highest Class wins a AMF Bowling Party,
  • Go in to win an Apple iPad mini draw, if you raise over $150.
  • The highest Individual Fundraiser will win the Milkshake Party at Vintage Cafe and Closest. 

Cash and online collections will close on Friday 18th May 2018.

Getting started with online fundraising is much easier this year. Use the 'Fundraise Now' button or tab. Your parent/guardian can sign you up with their login details from last year. New participants create an account through a simple process. You can also refer to the “how to sign up” tab above for guidance.

Parental consent for students to participate in online fundraising is now part of the online registration process.  

Challenge yourself! Spelling tests will be held in the week commencing 7th May 2018.

Donations can be made by searching your student/s via the ‘Sponsor a Student’ tab above.

Major prizes will be awarded and results announced on Parade on Thursday 8th June 2018.
